History of Evovle Engineering & Software

EES was founded as a LLC between two members. The establishing members are Zachary Gremillion (engineering) and Steven Dunn (software). Their combined 40 years of experience in the professional engineering and software fields mesh together as seamlessly as the solutions that they provide to their customers.

It is our belief that a fresh set of eyes can be the best way to get over hurdles that may not be apparent to those who are closely involved with a project from the beginning. The saying “not being able to see the forest through the trees” sums it up well. We offer a new perspective and a second set of resources on any project. In addition, our diversity and resources allow us to do nearly everything that may be involved in a project. This includes: design, assembly, programming, training and integration. This means that there is only one source for all maintenance, upgrades or extensions of the project. This accountability is something EES prides itself on. We were founded on the beliefs that we could be the total engineering solution. We always wholly apply ourselves to any problem we are given, no matter the size.

EES was founded with a strong background in two main areas: mechanical design/manufacturing, and software development/programming. Each founder is from a different background and pool their skills for every problem that a customer presents. This results in powerful capabilities for prototyping and quick turnaround situations. If there is need for a machine, EES can design the mechanical components, machine and assemble them, build the controller circuit, write the program and flash the chip. We can do it ALL IN HOUSE. This results in a fully completed and ready to use solution in a shorter amount of time from one company. Rather than designing, machining, assembling and/or programming being done by several different companies, all aspects will be handled and supported by EES.

Not only can EES clean up and do finishing work on a casting with one of our CNC machines but we can also recommend improvements to the initial design or final product. This results in easier machining for a faster turnaround, a better finished part for the end user and lower costs to the customer. We can even leverage our overseas contacts to get a price on the cast blanks if we were to supply them.
