EES manufactures fiber optic components to customers’ specifications as well as assists in the selection and design of fiber optic components. This can be custom fiber couplings, fiber optic housings and enclosures, fiber mounts, fiber junctions or anything else that may be needed.

EES can design and manufacture the instruments required for inspection and metrology of optics. This includes alignment jigs, inspection platforms, spectrophotometer fixtures, and laser mounts. We have experience with optical monitor system (OMS) fixtures used in the path through the coating chamber, the OMS light generation and light processing.

EES has experience supporting all aspects of the optics fabrication process including blocking, grinding, and polishing machine upgrade and maintenance. We have fabricated many parts for super-polished optics (0.5 angstrom or better RMS roughness) and we know the importance of a good tool that is free of burs that will not contaminate your polishing slurry.
