Fiber Optics Components
EES manufactures fiber optic components to customers’ specifications as well as assists in the selection and design of fiber optic components. This can be custom fiber couplings, fiber optic housings and enclosures, fiber mounts, fiber junctions or anything else that may be needed. We often design and manufacture the components that allow off-the-shelf parts such as fiber collimators, aligners and detectors to work together or be integrated into a larger system. We can assist in selecting off-the-shelf components or utilize the customer’s pre-selected components.
If desired, all of EES’s assemblies can come put together and with all necessary hardware and accessories (spare parts kits available as well). As an example, if the product is a custom fiber optic light source it can be delivered completely assembled with cooling fan, switch, plug etc. We can spec all of these components and make sure that they work together. All wiring will be completed and all components assembled, the unit is delivered so that out of the box it can be used. Many of our assemblies, custom laser mounts being a good example, can be precision assembled at EES so that they are aligned to within 0.001” or better on delivery. We are also happy to assembly customer designed products. If we machine all of the parts we are happy to order hardware and assemble all the units before delivery.
We go above and beyond the typical machine shop if the customers desire. We do not mind quoting customers prints and are very competitive on both pricing and delivery, with a delivery of a few days available in some cases. However EES’s main value added is in providing all services required, from design, to manufacture, to assembly, to testing and analysis and we even offer to go to a customer’s facility to train technicians on the proper use of the products we manufacture. This makes us the one stop shop for your custom fiber optic components and makes it easy to track all steps of the development.
If you are in need of custom fiber optic components or would like to learn more about what EES can do for you then please contact us today. We are happy to come to your facility and discuss requirements or gather data and measurements. We look forward to working with you.
