We go above and beyond just a standard machine shop. We can design the fixtures that are needed as well as manufacture them. We are happy to work WITH our customers and brainstorm solutions together. We often travel to customers locations to gather requirements and help with installation and training of technicians on proper use of equipment.
We have experience in all aspects of the optics industry including fabrication, thin film coating, research and development, machine maintenance and calibration, and metrology. We design and manufacture tooling for all of these areas and more. We are happy to quote the machining of customer prints and we are happy to design a custom part as well. We design everything from single components to large systems. We are familiar with the requirements of a high vacuum environment and understand the sensitivity involved in making super polished optics and we take all of this into account in every tool we design.
EES offers software solutions as well as mechanical ones. We can program databases, websites and standalone applications that streamline the process of handling and formatting data. We are constantly working on software that helps us to better serve our customers. We have an online job tracking system (the EES TMS) that allows our customers to log in and see the status of every order they have placed with EES. The priority of each job can be changed on the fly as well. This means that EES always works to deliver what is really needed in the order that works best for our customers.
