Machining & Manufacturing
The Machining and Manufacturing Division is as the name implies. This is the Division where all of the parts get produced and the assemblies get built. This division leverages strong knowledge of the machining and manufacturing methods and a talented staff to utilize various machines to produce parts that meet precise specifications. We have full CNC capabilities in both milling and turning on a lathe. We have in-house machines and adaptations that allow us to do difficult and challenging work easily and efficiently. It doesn't matter if the order is for 1 part or 1000 parts. The non-traditional areas of manufacturing are covered as well. We have a long list of contacts and we can offer assistance in casting and/or outsourcing for manufacturing.
The EES Machining and Manufacturing division really excels in combining our engineering background with our machining techniques. All high quantity and repeat runs get a 100% dedicated fixture made for them. These fixtures are inventoried and stocked. Subsequent batches of the same parts will be made quicker because that same fixture will be used. This reduces set up time (we can be up and running your parts in hours), insures good quality control, and that parts will be the exact same every time.
With our engineering background fixtures will be designed thoroughly and effectively. The machining process is designed to be efficient and guarantee parts meet all specifications. We engineer a lot of custom tooling and tool holders to make those tough-to-machine features easier. This translates down to the customer the form of cost savings for complex parts. We have in-house proprietary machines and fixtures that allow us to make complex high quantity parts incredibly fast. Features other machine shops would complain about we don’t even flinch at.
EES offers help with the design of components to be machined. We can engineer, design, create drawings and machine parts. Even if there is only an idea we will help that idea come to fruition. For more on our engineering services please see the Mechanical Systems Design Division.
